The album concept came about in discussions with Norway's EkkoKontroll. After working together on various tracks the concept was born. BT Gate's experiences living in Norway, meeting EkkoKontroll in Oslo, started a wonderful collaboration in sound and dub music. We decided to create an album that reflects the different places in Norway. We wrote tracks about traveling, roads, cities, industrialization, scenery, and more. Norway's beautiful countryside, mountains and coasts have inspired us to reflect that in our music. With organic field recordings to digital sounds, we combined both to form Tur Norge or Trip Norway. We thank you for listening and hope you enjoy this trip.
